Nuts and Bolts: Podia Course
I did it! My first paid course! 💃🏽💥💃🏽💥💃🏽💥💃🏽💥🚀
Some thoughts on my experience with Podia (no affiliation) so far. I have a free trial and then it's paid. If I keep it, my goal for this year is to make enough to pay for the subscription and to pay for my travel credit card. (Alaska airlines, free luggage! Companion fare! Does have spending requirements to qualify. No affiliation. Shop around for the 75k points offer.)
My personal:
Podia Pros:
Creating a landing page and text lessons was quite similar to creating a blog post, of which I've done a lot recently, so that was nice.
Connecting my already existing PayPal account was easy peasy and the email notifications when someone (me!) bought the course were great.
On the upside, the dashboard is easy to understand and exciting to see my little list of growing customers (just me, myself, and I at this point, but a good start for things to come, I think!)
Podia Cons:
I had trouble uploading Chat GPT images because they weren't in the right format (webp or something?). I solved this by taking a screenshot of my image, cropping it, and uploading that.
It kept me signed it which I didn't realize, so when I tried to buy my course as an outsider, it mixed up my trial profile with the "new" one I thought I was creating. Then I went in and tried again after signing out, so now I'm not sure if I got charged once or twice, and I have two "customers" under the same email. It's a whole snafu and I'll probably have to chat with their customer service to find out how to unravel it.
